- This is the last draft that I have done. I like it. It starting to look like a spread from a magazine. I put the test so that it does't interfere with the leg as that looks sexy, let's say mysterious. The article will feature only 4 designers so I didn't want to go very big with their names because I want the image to stand out rather than their names. The image defines what Fashion Week and this article is about. The only thing I would say is that it might be a bit too much white space on the right of the page.
Part 2
The image on the right presents the designer herself. I though she looked amazing in her own piece, like a proper model so I decided to give her a full page. In terms of her name, the first draft looks too empty and I don't think making her name bigger would have helped. I needed to add some information as well about her collection but as you can see it doesn't look right. Maybe her name yes, but the info definitely not: not the right position, might change the font as well, depending on where I decide to put it.
- This version looks much better. I realized that there is no point in giving her 2 pages, one is enough and the info can go on the other images with her collection. I do like how I put her name in white, looks elegant and I lowered the opacity so it doesn't stand out a lot. This way, you can see the image and her name as well.
- The right page though, look good (a full image will always look good in my opinion) apart from the text. I need to put the info on top of the image somehow but that white rectangle doesn't work because the text is not readable. you have to struggle to understand it.
I used the font for her name : Katy Berry
I literally can't explain why I chose that font. I do believe it goes really well with her name and her figure. She was happy and smily that night. It's a shame I couldn't take her interview but I didn't have that in might on that moment. I was very overwhelmed with everything.
