Going back to research

Well it's been quite a long time since I have done some research on  contents page and editor's letter. I wanted to do a bit more research so I remember what to do.

Editor's letter

The one on the left looks very commercial and it doesn't really suit the style of my magazine. The one on the right is very boring and it wouldn't represent any magazine to be honest. Actually, it depends I suppose.

I like this one a lot. I like how the triangles contain those images, like an insight into the magazine. I don't know if the girl on the right is the editor but if that is her I believe that is a bit too much - to have a photo of yourself  on a full page. Under the editor's letter there is a triangle with a picture. It might be her and in this case it should be fine.

another very commercial one

this one, though, is far from being suitable or close to my magazine but I like it a lot. It's very quirky and original I think.

I love this one. I was thinking to do something similar. It's simple but it does its job.

This one is quite nice although I feel like something is missing. Her image and the text are not positioned that good I think because the white space on the right corner is not very natural.

Contents Page

I really like this one. Actually, I am not quite sure it is a contents page or not but I thought it would very nice as one. It would be different.

I also like this game with the images. I might try something like that.
